About This Project

Recently we’ve been lucky enough to be a part of the West End State School power supply upgrade and it has been a great opportunity for the team to prove OZCAT’s capability.

Working in and around live services (not to mention an 11KV high voltage cable sitting right in alignment of works) to install a new bank of 7 conduits has not come without challenges.

We needed to cut the concrete path, delicately rock break everything below 600mm depth, and then use our hands, shovels and hammers – to remove the concrete 4-way that housed the cable and re-direct it onto the opposite side of the trench to fit in with the new 7 stack.

It’s exactly these types of detailed excavations that OZCAT Civil specialises in… what a project!
